MY PARENTS

You are reading this because of them. They were my guiding light in every day of my life till now. I have been bad and good to them, but they have always been good to me, always giving, never expecting any thing. I hope I can be so to my children.

My Sisters

Both elder to me. Both stood as examples through my life. Cheering me, helping me, supporting me. I have taken a lot from them, but gave nothing in return.

My Brothers-in-Law

Though, in-law, both have gelled with the family in more ways than one. I still spend long hours with them when we meet.

About My HOMETOWN

Jaykaypur is surrounded on all sides by Hills. All the hills are atleast two kilometers from my house. It can be reached by train or bus. The River "Nagavali" is the primary source of water for Jaykaypur. If you ask for Rayagada, you may find more information. Jaykaypur is ten(10) kilometers from Rayagada.

Till 1990, most of the population of Jaykaypur were the employees of J K Paper Mills, a division of JK Corp, (Singhania Group). (Jaykaypur gets it name from the paper mill.) It housed people from all over the Indian Sub-continent. Even now, you have people from all over India. But only the percentage could be less. Growing population has led to a loss of the greenery around Jaykaypur.

MY SCHOOL

Sacred Heart School, Rayagada. Here I spent eleven and a half of 12 years of my schooling. Enjoyed every moment of it, though I did not know I was enjoying. Have very sweet memories of those days. (1979 to 1989). It churned out many great men, including me. The teachers always gave their best for the students. And their efforts never went waste. We respect them.

MY COLLEGE

Rayagada College, Rayagada. Yes, as usual, churned out lots of great minds. Many were selfmade. The lecturers put in their best effort and any one interested in knowing more was never turned back. Under the circumstances, the Lecturers managed to get 40% of the students to pass. That was an achievement in those days. Hats off to them.

ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering, Eluru. You will find students from this college in many organizations around the world. A synergy got established between the Lecturers and Students in this college, which brought about the need to learn, the need to acheive. The foundations of my professional life were built here.

BUSINESS SCHOOL

Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar
Again, you will find persons from this school in a number of organizations around the world. Young and still going strong. You have people of all types here, book worms to the party animals and persons treading the golden mean between the two. I did not work very hard at the books, but at life, yes, I learnt quite a lot. I learnt to live.
